The primary environment for experiencing a healthy biblical community that produces spiritual growth and life change is what we call BridgeGroups. We believe that people need to engage others and that God has designed us to experience this journey with others. True spiritual growth takes place as we build relationships in settings that encourage transparency, authenticity, and accountability.
Our BridgeGroups will consist of about 6-10 individuals who typically meet weekly for Bible study, prayer, accountability, service, worship and fellowship. They may meet in homes, restaurants, or other places within the community.
Our BridgeGroups may be connected by life stage, gender or
geographical affinity. There will be a BridgeGroup for everyone! We
hope that as you become connected with the life of The Bridge Church
you will make one of our BridgeGroups a top priority.
Location: We have two homes and two nights
in which to choose
(Tuesday Night or
Wednesday Night)
Please call the church office or email us for the locations.
Schedule:
6:15pm - Meet
6:30pm
- Bible Study (our topics will
typically come from the message from
the previous Sunday. These questions are given each
Sunday. If you
would like a copy of the questions, please email us and we will send
then to you.)
7:30pm - Official Dismissal (we have a "come-as-soon-as-you-can,
leave-when-you-must" approach to
our small groups. We understand
that there are many things that hinder us from
getting to the Bible study on
time. Punctuality is important and respectful to others, but coming is
more important than not coming!
Sometimes discussions and
fellowship continue past the "official
dismissal" time... so,
"leave-when-you-must," but stay-if-you-can.
Children: We will have planned activites for
the younger children at
each home.
