The Bridge Life

1. God made the first move. He entered our world. His bridge towards us was a bridge of love, demonstrated by the sinless example and willing sacrifice of Jesus Christ. It was on the cross that our debt payment was made. It was the resurrection of Jesus that gave us abundant life now and assurance of eternal life later. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life.

2. God created a family. He adopted us into a community of faith. There is a bridge of relationship that must take place between followers of Jesus Christ. This distinct community within a community shares in the journey of discovering God and His Word.

3. God is still moving. He is gathering others by sending His people. God's people are sent as a bridge to those who have yet to discover God's love for them. Some of those yet to hear are at the ends of the earth; others are at the end of street. There is hope for all.
